- Dad began a new series, Dream On. It was a great start to a new year.
- Dad actually said, “Go big or go home” in his message today.
- He also did NOT wear a suit. This just goes to show that miracles still happen in 2008!
- Like Abs, I was sad there were no responses to the invitation to accept Christ in our service this morning. This last year, over 160 men, women, teens and children made the decision to follow Christ. My heart is for multitudes to follow Christ at The ROCK. Hey, it happened in the Bible. Why not today?
- I don’t get to do videos regularly. But, this week, I put together the video bumper to intro Dream On. Check it out below.
- After church today, I had lunch with our Small Group leaders. I had a blast talking about dreaming big dreams and the future for the Small Group ministry at The ROCK. We have phenomenal leaders who believe in the vision.
- Today, one of our leaders had to break up a fight between two ladies. It got really tense for a few, but she did a phenomenal job. The team working with HandUp (our inner city ministry) are beyond compare. Every Sunday, they bring 40-50 people from the inner city. They are making a huge difference in the lives of many people and I am honored to serve with them.
- Tonight, Jen and I went over to Mill’s place for Board Game Olympics. We had a blast playing Pictionary, Speed Scrabble and Baggo. After we left, they started a round of Texas Hold ‘Em. I love hanging out with friends.
- All in all, it’s been a great weekend. I have an amazing life.
